MCC Management Team

Rebecca Harvison
Rebecca joined MCC as the Centre Director in 2010, coming from a corporate background in Logistics Rebecca previously worked for BHP Petroleum and Johnson and Johnson Medical in their supply chains. Rebecca and her family have been a part of the centre for close to 20 years, both her daughters, now adults have participated in gymnastics, netball and dance and both are still involved as gym coaches and holiday program leaders. Rebecca spent some time during 2007 and
2008 as a volunteer gymnastics coach and judge, she has also been a netball coach and the volunteer President of the Pink Panthers netball club in 2009 to 2010.
Rebecca is passionate about community development in particular she loves seeing our young people learn and grow through unique opportunities such as volunteering or other experiences they otherwise may not have the opportunity to engage in at school or home. Forming positive relationships and connecting with our youth is what she enjoys most about working in the community development field. Rebecca adores her MCC team of staff and volunteers and feels blessed to be able to work with such a wonderful group of people every day, they are in the true sense of the word one big extended family. Outside of life at MCC Rebecca enjoys spending time with her friends and family, staying active and the opportunity to wind down with nice glass of Chardonnay on the weekend.

Lindy McLaughlin
Lindy has been working at MCC since 2009 where she started as our Netskills Instructor. Lindy is now the centre’s Assistant Manager. Lindy is married with 2 children and enjoys going on holidays to her favourite destination Bali.
Lindy graduated from Victoria University in 1994 where she studied Recreation Leadership and went on to work at the Arthur Preston Centre, facilitating recreational activities for people with Huntington’s disease. Lindy also spent time working with Scope in a day care facility providing stimulating activities and socialisation for their clients.
Growing up Lindy had a passion for Calisthenics and played Representative Netball for Mountain District, she feels passionate about children’s health and wellbeing, and making sure that people feel accepted and have a purpose. Lindy is very close to her family which also extends to her MCC family.

Jenny Kelly
Jen has worked at Mordialloc Community Centre since 2014 as our Finance and Human Resources Coordinator.
Jen loves water sports including water skiing, paddle boarding, boating and swimming. Jen is also a keen and very talented tap dancer. Jen is married with 3 adult children, Nicole, Michelle and Daniel.
In the time Jen has worked at Mordialloc Community Centre she has seen the centre grow so much, and is thrilled to be a part of such an enthusiastic team of people.

Kathy Mayberry
Kathy started her role as our Community Development and Seniors Coordinator in 2017. Kathy is responsible for coordinating our senior’s programs, looking after our volunteers and facilitating community development programs for the centre.
Kathy lives locally, is married and has 3 sons who keep her on her toes, she is also a hairdresser by trade having worked in the hairdressing industry for the past 36 years. Before coming to MCC Kathy also worked in the health care industry for 8 years as a Lifestyle Coordinator in dementia and aged care. Kathy loves being part of the MCC family and brings with her an abundance of energy and positivity. Kathy enjoys meeting people, going to the gym, yoga, meditation, dinners and her beautiful friends both in and outside of work.
