HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
Volunteer Coaching:
Coaching is a great way to be involved in your daughter’s sport. You do not have to have played yourself. We can provide manuals, training tips, and even sponsor you to complete a Netball Vic Coaches course.
Parental Involvement:
The teams need plenty of help at the time your daughter is playing. You can assist with scoring and if interested can become an umpire.
Training
MCC Panthers train at Parkdale Secondary College, Warren Road Parkdale.
MCC Panthers allocated training nights are Wednesdays from 4-8pm.
Please be mindful that it is difficult to accommodate all girls and their preferred training times. Training is allocated on space and volunteer coach availability.
Dropping Off
To ensure the safety and well-being of ALL children, IT IS IMPERATIVE the following procedures are followed:
When dropping off a child at the facility the person/s responsible for the child must ensure that the Coach is made aware of the child’s presence before leaving the facility. Please DO NOT leave your child unattended prior to training commencing, the doors open at 3.55pm
and not before.
Picking up:
Children must be collected by the finishing time of the class. Staff will need to be notified if the person collecting the child is to be later than usual. The child will be notified to avoid any anxiety. If someone other than usual will be picking up your child, please notify the office or teacher beforehand.
As we have a very busy car park please ensure you collect your child from inside the centre. Children under 12 years will not be permitted to leave the centre without adult supervision.
